The 2023 Alabama Optional/Xcel State Championships will be held on March 24-26, 2023 at the Trustmark Arena in Montevallo, Alabama. The Championships are being hosted by Legacy Gymnastics and are under the direction of the Alabama USA Gymnastics State Administrative Committee.

Please note the change in location to the Trustmark Arena on the University of Montevallo Campus. The original meet site of Thompson High School became unavailable and a change in venue was necessary. Thanks to Legacy Gymnastics for their efforts to find another great site for this championship meet.

Please note the deadline for entries is February 24, 2023 and all payments are made through MeetMaker.

 There are 2 gyms running with different levels so plan your coaching staff accordingly. The meet schedule should be out by March1 and will be sent to all participating clubs and  posted on both the Alabama USA Gymnastics Facebook page and website.

Please make sure you enter all the coaches that will be attending from your club in Meet Reservations to avoid any hold up in their verification on site in Montevallo.

The 2023 Alabama Compulsory State Championships will be held on December 1-3, 2023 at the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, AL. The meet will be hosted by Armory Athletics.

The 2023 Compulsory Championships will be run with the oldest to the youngest age groups and from the upper levels to the lower levels.
